Prayer Requests from Narda Cerda, June 13
1) The health of many of the residents at Outlook Pointe is slowly deteriorating. Thre ar two sisters there who share a room. I do not know their names but last week one of the sisters had to watch her sister be taken out of the worship service because she was to weak to stay and was pretty distraught about it. Pray that the Lord will somehow make it easier physically for these residents. It is hard on the family, on the residents, and on Jackie and Joe who are ministering there.
2) Pray for the preparation of our workers at our various mission points. Planning lesson plans for the week is time consuming but pray that the Lord will give them their lesson plans that somehow will minister to indiviudual needs.
3) Mission Raleigh is growing by leaps. Many mission points have no choice but to make groups that include different ages because we need more workers. Pray that the Lord will guide and give wisdom on how to plan and deal with such a wide range of ages and numbers.
4) Pray for Mr. Bledsoe at the Oaks apts. He just came out of the hospital is not doing well.
5) Pray for the 5 professions this past week at Polk. Pray for discipleship. Also Pray for Omar Alfaro a young male inmate who knows the Lord and is planning to initiate an appeal on his sentence. We do not know the specifics but pray that the Lrods will will be done in this.
6) Pray for Sam at Bart Street. He is in the hospital with pneumonia. He does not have a place to stay when he gets out and needs a job. But his biggest problem is that he does not know the Lord. Pray for the Holy Spirit to convict!

Prayer Requests from Narda Cerda, September 20
1) Mission Raleigh has a prayer alert. Our food closet is empty, empty, empty. Mission Raleigh is oneof the leading feeding agencies in the city, one that brings the gospel with groceries to many hungry people.
2) Be in prayer for Brooke, Corinna, and Hope as they are heading up the Cedar Pt. Basement Time where the youth come and hang out and where they are discipled (for those that have accepted Christ). Pray that the Lord will use this time for His glory.
3) Cedar Pt. is growing and are in need of some volunteers. Pray that the Lord breaks down the spiritual walls of darkness there.
4) Praise God for the Muslim family at Cedar Pt. that I have been emailing you about. The four children from that family are active in the youth group at Cedar Pt. and Awa (the girl who gave her life to the Lord but was afraid to tell her Muslim parents has been attending the Cedar Pt Basement and is excited about being discipled. Praise God that the parents though still Muslim are allowing their children to be a part of what is happening at Cedar Pt.
5) Jackie and Joe who are our mission directors at Outlook Pointe have been praying for some help, well that help came in the way of a young man named Jackie who gave his life to the Lord this past week and wants to serve with Mission Raleigh at Outlook Pointe. Pray that the Lord will keep this new Christian strong.
6) An adult bible study will begin at Terrace Park soon. Pray for a resident there named Darnell who has been invited to several things at Terrace Park but has never come. He said he would come to the adult bible study.
7)Pray for the youth at Terrace Park. The youth club is starting up again but alot of the old youth have moved away. Pray that the Lord will bring in new youth to the youth group that have open and willing hearts to the gospel.
8)Pray for Kentwood Apts near NC State. They have been asking Mission Raleigh to open up some kids club there for a couple of years now but there has been no volunteers. Pray for youth workers that will start a youth group in that much needed environment.
9)Continue to pray for Rick and Shanna, our Mission Raleigh Workers. They are working, planning for their wedding in November, and are full time Mission Raleigh Residents for Raleigh North. Whew! Pray for strength and their upcoming wedding.
